Sushi Groove@ 1 Utama Shopping Centre (New Wing), PJ

The restaurant doesn’t resemble a conventional Japanese restaurants. Instead, it looked more like a green colored themed pub / club with dark atmosphere and cool lighting effects on the wall.

It's not even Japanese in origin but Indonesia. Green hues all over with dim lighting, very groovy indeed.

The menu consists of sushi with quite an emphasis on various types of makis, appetizers and salads, various types of rice and noodles and dessert.

Lime juice

Golden Gate Roll (RM 12.90) - Cooked tuna, avocado slice wrapped in a roll and topped with raw tuna slice sprinkled with fish roes.

Tori chicken sprinkles on rice

Overall, I thought the food was not bad but the sushi here is a little different as it is like a sort of fusion Japanese.
