iberry @ The Emporium, Bangkok, Thailand

My Rating for iberry: (4/6)

95 95 95 95
iberry is a cool abbreviation for ice cream and berries. It is a small chain of Thai ice cream shops. They sell delicious ice cream in more than 100 flavors, but they're famous, more than anything, for their incredibly stylized shops - all different in every location and all designed like a Vogue backdrop. I was in Bangkok and visited the iberry homemad ice cream shop. It is one of the most beautiful ice cream shops I've ever seen, and one of the coolest too.

Inside the shop, the design was spectacular. Whitewashed walls that had then been sponge painted to give them a distressed look, overstuffed comfortable chairs, low tables, interesting art work on the walls and lots of odd looking ornaments gave it a funky air. I ordered two scoops of ice cream - lemon sorbet and cappuccino and a smoothie.

So many flavours : Sherbet and Ice cream.

Lemon sorbet and cuppucino. All of them were so delicious.

Address: iberry has a few other stores (Central Chit Lom 1st floor, Sukhumvit 24, Maneeya center, Market Place soi Thonglor).

Fuji Japanese Restaurant, Bangkok, Thailand

My Rating for Fuji : (3/6)

44 44 44

The first Japanese restaurant I ate at on arriving in Bangkok was the Fuji in Central World Plaza. With chains of restaurant all over Bangkok, this impressive "bamboo-inspired" interior restaurant is a modern establishment that aims to serve authentic Japanese cuisine at reasonable prices.

The deco inside was ok. There is lots of wooden 'box' you get to stay in, giving you some privacy.

They have a wide selection of menu. Every item were arranged nicely with gorgeous pictures , details and pricing. We had a hard time deciding on what to order.

(Top left): My friend ordered Sukiju Pork Set (140 Baht). It’s a rice and noodle combo with braised pork, tofu, vegetables, onions and ramen in miso based broth.
(Down): Assorted sushi

Alaska Salmon Roll (190 Baht). Very fresh and everything were rolled up nicely.

Chokdee Dim Sum Restaurant, Bangkok, Thailand

My Rating for Chokdee: (3/6)

14 14 14

Upon entering Chokdee, you walk to a glass case where the uncooked dim sum are anxiously waiting for you, with a wide variety of food. You choose the ones you want, which are steamed to order and brought to your table. It was all too frigging cheap, at 15 baht per dish! Surprisingly, they served bak ku teh too, but they served it with vegetables.
